SAO PAULO (Reuters) - The 2017/18 orange crop of the São Paulo and Triangulo / Sudoeste Mineiro citrus belt, where most of the juice exporting industry is located, reached 398.35 million 40.8 kg boxes, the fourth largest in history, the Citeculture Defense Fund (Fundecitrus) said on Tuesday.The harvested volume represented a 62 per cent increase over the 2016/17 season, hit by climate problems, still 25 per cent above the average of the last ten years, Fundecitrus said.Production 9.3 percent higher than the initial forecast of May 2017 is expected to contribute to a recovery in orange juice exports from Brazil, the largest global exporter.None(By Roberto Samora){lo...
